Hello everyone !! I am a third year PhD student in the Computer Science Department, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Troy, NY.

My advisor is Professor Petros Drineas. I also work closely with Professor Malik Magdon-Ismail.

I am interested in Machine Learning (mostly supervised and unsupervised learning) and in designing Randomized Algorithms for linear algebraic computations.
I have extensive experience in feature selection, classification and clustering of large-scale data involving population genetics, electronic circuit-testing and text.

I obtained the MS degree in Computer Science in December 2012 from RPI. Before joining RPI, I earned a B.E. degree (Hons), from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Bengal Engineering and Science University , Shibpur, India.
