W3Pal - A System for the Analysis of Web Sites

Software Download Page

W3Pal is currently installed on the RPI Computer Science Workstations running solaris 8. In addition, it has been compiled and installed on several distributions of linux with kernel 2.2, including RedHat and Mandrake.

W3Pal is a work in progress and the next stage is to create distributions for Linux (we did it)and UNIX. The w3pal static binary runs under redhat linux 7.2. This was made possible by the local linux guru Andrew Morrison Andrew . The tar file and the rpm are found in

  1. w3pal.rpm
  2. w3pal.tar.gz
Thanks to FreeBSD guru James Flemer (jflemer@alum.rpi.edu) (We have many at RPI - but the one that listens to me), we have a WWWPal version for FreeBSD. Both of these are dynamically linked.
  1. w3pal.tar.gz
  2. w3pal.tar.gz for freebsd version 4.5 (runs under monica.cs.rpi.edu - a free bsd version.
Here is the w3pal binary for solaris operating systems (SunOS 5.8 = solaris 8). This is John's design, architecture and implementation. If you have any question, you may contact puninj John Punin or Moorthy Mukkai Krishnamoorthy.
