LOGML Overview

Back to LOGML

Log Markup Language (LOGML) files can be loaded into the WWWPAL browser just like any XGMML graph. However, when a LOGML file is loaded into the browser, web page hit counts and hyperlink hit counts are displayed on the website graph.

The graphical representation (shown to the right), of a small website on the RPI computer science department is an example of how WWWPal displays LOGML website information.

  • Squares represent internal HTML documents.
  • Circles represent external HTML documents.
  • Lines represent hyperlinks.
  • Numbers above squares and circles represent HTML hits.
  • Numbers above connecting lines represent Hyperlink clicks.
  • Numbers inside squares and circles are unique identifiers
