EXAM DATES: Students should anticipate taking the BSCN exam the week of December 3rd, and no later than Friday, December 7th. This will give those who fail the exam the first time, 2 weeks to prepare to take it again.
Sign up for the Routing exam (RTING 640-503). Confirm by emailing me kotfid@rpi.edu by Thursday, Nov. 29th, 5 pm your test center and time
If you choose this testing center, then follow the directions from Kathy below:

"They can register for any date (Monday-Friday) and time (8 AM, 9:15 AM, 10 AM, 1:30 PM, 2 PM, 2:30 PM, 3 PM, 3:30 PM, 4 PM, 4:30 PM, 5 PM, 5:30 PM, 6 PM, 6:30 PM, 7 PM) they want as long as we can work it into our schedule. I would ask that they ALL register directly WITH ME to avoid confusion. If they begin calling VUE, Prometric and DGS to register we end up with duplicates and time overlaps that cause delays for everyone. Have each person send me an e-mail at Kathy@dgsnet.com with the following information at least 48 hours before the exam. I will confirm the exact time and send directions to them in case they have any questions. Name: Requested exam date: Requested exam time: Payment method: If by credit card, you may either e-mail Kathy@dgsnet.com or call 869-1305 ext. 14 and give the card type, number and expiration. Again, the most important thing with so many registering is for everyone to register DIRECTLY WITH ME so I can track exams."

Grading Policy (10/22/01) - Both CCNA exam and BSCN exam must be passed to pass course. Anyone who passes both exams, receives an A for the course.
Labs are held at the same time and location as the first part of the semester.
In the labs..... when the router does something it should not do (never!).... do a "show run" command and cut and paste the configs into notepad. That way we can all try to solve the mystery - and have some fun :-) To mis-quote frog, "There is nothing quite so much fun as going down to the water and playing in.... routers" Frog and Toad are Friends
