1. In class: Study sample test questions, pages 685 - 749 from CCNP Routing Exam Certification Guide by Clare Gough (Cisco Press, 2002) (handout available in class). These questions focus on both the CCNP and the CCDP (Design Professional) exam so a few of the questions are on topics we have not covered and you should (?) not see on the exam. If you have subnetting and route summarization down cold, then focus on pages 699-749. I do not believe (but am not certain) that you will have to memorize the RFC numbers.
If it helps, turn these questions into "Flash Cards," i.e., transfer the questions to 4" x 6" notecards. That is what I am doing.
2. Lab: Using the weaknesses deteched by the Transcender exam, practice set ups and commands that you need to know. In this folder is a notepad document with some sample OSPF flash cards. If you create flash cards of your own, please email them to me so that, together, we can have a complete set.
3. Reading: Since there may(?) be some questions on Integrated IS-IS, read Doyle, Routing TCP/IP Volume I, pages 593-610, 650-655. The key pages are page 595, and the sample config on pages 650-655. I would not spend a lot of time of this since I believe it will either be a minor part of the exam, or not on it at all (see document on what may(?) be on the exam in this folder)
