Homework:

1.  Lammle, pp. 325-383; practice exam, pp. 544-566 (about half as difficult as the real exam)

2.  Take the electronic practice exams using the Edgetest software until you score 100%.

3.  Go over the review questions at the end of each chapter.  Concentrate on the areas in which you are weak.

Labs:

1.  Use sample configs under link Frame Relay off home page.  Config all your serial links, including the link to the backbone, to run Frame Relay.  Whoever finishes first, should config the backbone router using Frame Relay.   Notice the use of "frame-relay switching" command in router 1.  This makes router 1 both a layer 3 router and a layer 2 switch.

2.  Break your Frame Relay connections by mixing the lmi types, mixing static pvcs with dynamic routing protocols without the appropriate broadcast command.  Get creative and see how many ways you can break Frame Relay.

3.  Then use all your Frame Relay troubleshooting commands:  "show frame-relay map"  "show frame-relay pvc"   "show frame-relay lmi"  "debug frame-relay lmi" to troubleshoot and fix each others' broken connections.
