Homework:

1.  Lammle, pp. 1-68

2.  Edgetest software on chapters 8 & 9; Repeat until you score 100%.

Labs may be used for the following:

3.  Create one additional standard IP access list using a different set of IP addresses and blocking traffic from one router to another.  Spam me by emailing me the config of the router with the access-list in it, and proof and it was unreachable.   Use as your email header, "Standard IP Access List".

4.  Create 3 additional extended IP Access Lists.  Suggestions:    RIP UDP port 520; filter IGRP;  filter DNS (lammle, 374);  If you do not know what port to block, refer to RFC 1700.  You can test whether a certain port is blocked by  telnetting (from inside the router) to the IP address and specify the port number.  Have I really block doom on port 666?

p1r4#11.0.0.2 666                  (cisco adds the word "telnet" by default)
