Exam Day Information
Check In:
Arrive on time. Candidates should arrive at the
testing center at least 15 minutes before the test is scheduled to begin. To be
admitted to test, you must bring two forms of identification as proof. Please provide a
driver's license or government issue ID; both pieces of ID should contain your
legal name and signature.
All Cisco exams are "closed book". You are not
allowed to take books, calculators or backpacks into the testing center
area. All cell phones andpagers must be turned off. The testing center
should provide you with scratch paper and/or laminated marker boards for your use
during testing.
Check Out:
When you've completed your test, the proctor will escort you out of the testing
center room and check you out. You need to surrender your scratch paper
and/or laminated marker boards at this point. All
candidates will be given a score report or a beta exam confirmation at the end of
the exam. This document includes important material; please keep it for
future reference.
Once you have taken a Cisco Career Certification exam, you can track your
certification progress at:

You will be prompted for your Candidate or Cisco (CSCO) ID and your password.
If you are a first time test taker, provide your last name and registration (or
testing) ID.

2.Social Security Number or Prometric Identification Number (one will be
assigned if candidate has not previously tested with Prometric)
3.Telephone number (home and work OK to leave work number blank)
4.Mailing address
5.Billing address (if necessary)
6.Exam number and title
7.Method of payment (cash, personal check or
credit card)
8.Candidates must notify the Customer Service Representative that they
will be using a voucher.
9.E-mail address (if possible, if not, OK to leave blank)
Schedules and Tests
1.If you must cancel an exam, they will be required to do so no later than
24 hours before the scheduled day of testing. Any cancellations made
later than that will mean that you will be required to pay for the missed
exam before being allowed to schedule the next one. Exceptions may be
made for extenuating circumstances, such as illness, accident, death in
the family, etc.
2.Candidates may schedule exams up to six weeks in advance.
3.They should arrive at the testing center at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start
time.
4.They will be required to bring two forms of identification to the testing site.
One of the forms must include a photo ID (e.g. valid passport, driver's
license, or state ID); the other must include a signature.
5.If they must cancel an exam, they will be required to do so no later than
one day before their scheduled day of testing. Any cancellations made later than that will
mean that they will be required to pay for the missed exam before being allowed to
schedule the next one. Exceptions may be made for extenuating circumstances, such as
illness, accident, death in the family, etc.
You must slide a photocopy of your certified test results (pass or fail) under my door in Lally 316 by 5 pm, Friday, October 12th. No exceptions. My preference is that you slide them under my door the day you take the exam.
