Kevin Bacon
8 July 1958
Kevin Bacon's early training as an actor came from The Manning Street
debut as the strict Chip Diller in Animal House (1978) almost seems
like an inside joke, but he managed to escape almost unnoticed from
that role. Diner (1982) became the turning point after a couple of
TV-series and a number of less than memorable movie roles. In a cast
of soon to be stars he more than held his end up, and we saw a glimpse
of the real lunatic image of The Bacon.

Charlize Theron
7 August 1975
Charlize Theron grew up on a farm outside Benoni, South Africa, as the
only child. She got an education as a ballet dancer and has danced
both The Swan Lake and the Nutcracker Suite. There wasn't much for a
young actress or dancer to do in South Africa, so she soon travelled
to Europe and USA where she got job at the Joffrey Ballet in New
York. She was also able to work as a photo model. However, an injured
knee put a halt to her dancing career.  At the age of 18 her mother
made her go to Los Angeles to try a career in the movie industry. She
came to LA without knowing anyone in the city but after two weeks when
she was standing in line on Hollywood Boulevard an agent gave her his
card. After eight months in LA she got her first part. Since then she
has taken acting lessons and her career has skyrocketed, most lately
in The Devil's Advocate (1997).

Keanu Reeves

Madonna

The remarkable hyper ambitious, Material Girl who never stops
re-inventing herself has sold tens of millions of CDs to adoring fans
world wide, however her film career has consistently drawn scathing or
laughable reviews from film critics, and her films have generally
often only experienced tepid success at the box office. Born Madonna
Louise Veronica Ciccone on August 1958 in Bay City, Michigan she moved
to New York in the late 1970s and studied with renowned choreographer
Alvin Ailey, joined up with the Patrick Hernandez Revue, formed a
pop/dance band called "Breakfast Club" and then began working with
then boyfriend Stephen Bray on recording several disco oriented
songs. NY producer / DJ Mark Kamins passed her demo tapes onto Sire
Records in early 1982......and the rest, as they say, is history. The
1980s was Madonna's boom decade, and she dominated the music charts
with a succession of multi-million selling albums, plus her musical
and fashion influence on young women was felt right around the globe.

Liv Tyler
1 July 1977
Daughter of Steven Tyler of the band Aerosmith and Bebe Buell, former
model (and Playboy Playmate of the Month) and stalwart of the backstage
rock scene of the 1970s, Liv grew up thinking that rock star Todd
Rundgren was her father. But as she was growing up Tyler began dropping
by to visit, and Liv noticed that his daughter Mia looked enough like
her to be her twin. She confronted her mother, and was told the truth;
by the time she was 12 she had taken her father's name. At 14 she and
her mother left Portland, Maine for New York, where she got her start as
a model. A year was enough of the modeling grind, and she decided to
become an actress. She was offered the part of Callie in Heavy (1995)
after a single reading, and only three weeks later was cast in Silent
Fall (1994) - James Mangold, director of Heavy (1995), decided to delay
shooting until Liv was available. With seven films in the 1993-96 period
her career took off.

Natalie Portman
9 June 1981
Natalie Portman was born on 9th June 1981, in Jerusalem, Israel, as the
only child of a doctor father and an artist mother, who also acts as
Natalie's agent. She left Israel for Washington, DC, when she was still
very young. After a few more moves, her family finally settled in New
York, where she lived until her graduation from high school. She
graduated with honors, and her academic achievements allowed her to
attend Harvard.
