Let's get this plant thing right.
A customer connects to the home screen, which lists three categories of plants for sale, perennials, annuals and shrubs. They can choose one of these. When they do, a list of plants in that category is displayed, along with the price. They can choose to buy as many of any of these as they wish.
When they submit this data, a screen resembling the home screen is shown again, this time with two additional buttons, labeled Show Shopping Cart and Proceed to Checkout. Note that they have five choices now, they can choose any of the three categories and order more plants, they can see their shopping cart, which lists everything they have ordered during this session, or they can proceed to checkout.
Hitting the proceed to checkout button terminates the session.
All of your code should be done in Javabeans, not scriptlets.
Your application should be able to handle multiple simultaneous clients.
