- As an example of how coordinates correspond to a course, here is
an image of an example course
corresponding to:
G4: 4.00, 0.125
G3: 2.75, -0.30
G2: 2.00, 0.00
G1: 1.00, 0.20
- The random course generation program is available in
/projects/ira/lab2. There is a compiled version there that
runs only on the suns. (Currently, there is a problem on reading the
/project directories from maximal which I am trying to get resolved.)
Here is the source code. It should
compile without problem on any computer.
I am working to get a version up and running on maximal (hopefully
when the /project directory access problem is resolved).
I'll let you know when this is working.
- Here is the "standard" course, one of the three courses that your
program will be tested on:
G4: 4 , -0.125
G3: 3.2 , 0
G2: 1.95 , -0.1
G1: 1 , 0.25
- To demonstrate the lab, contact Yogi to arrange a time. As
announced in class on 4/8, it's fine if you demo the lab over the
weekend, but this is subject to Yogi's availability. I suggest
contacting him as soon as possible to arrange a time.
- The written report should be less than 2 pages and is due on
Monday in class.
