[astro] gmle cvs changes

Hi Everybody,

I've cleaned up all the directories that we've been using in CVS, and 
consolidated everything
into a single directory -- gmle.  It contains both the SALSA and MPI 
code (each in their own
respective directories), and should just make life easier.   Feel free 
to check this out and use it,
once i've heard from everyone that they've swapped over i'll clean out 
the other directories.
