hopefully this will get through, it's not letting me send email from the
hotel where i'm staying, so
i'm trying my gmail account.
the SALSA code should be working correctly - at least the conjugate gradient
descent and
gradient descent.

I also got the MPI code to not freeze today, however the integral function
is returning NaNs
so i was wondering if you could take a look at it?
