Memorial plans for Bob Ingalls

A memorial service for the Computer Science Department's Executive Officer, Dr. Bob Ingalls, will be held at the Chapel and Cultural Center, 2125 Burdett Avenue, Troy, NY, on Saturday, December 4, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception in The Great Room at the Heffner Alumni House.

As a tribute to Dr. Ingalls, the Computer Science Department is planning

1. A physical memorial in the form of a tree, bench, and plaque outside the Lally Building.
2. A scholarship memorial to be given annually to the student that the faculty judges to be the best programmer.

To make a financial contributions for these memorials, you have several options:

1. Online: Go to https://secure.imodules.com/s/1225/2col.aspx?sid=1225&gid=1&pgid=473+. In the gift designation section at the bottom of the form, write that it is a memorial gift in memory of Robert Ingalls.
2. Mail: Make your checks payable to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and mail to:

3. In person: Drop of your donation with Sharon Simmons in Lally 209A.
