Research Interests: Design and analysis of randomized and approximation algorithms for Linear Algebra problems. Also interested in applications of such algorithms to Information Retreival and Data Mining.

Education Dr. Drineas received his PhD in Computer Science in 2003 from Yale University where he worked with Ravi Kannan. He received his BS in Computer Engineering from Patras University, Greece.
