Registration Flow (NEEDS WORK)

Allows a person to register on the website with either a basic profile or an advanced profile.

Member Profile

A Member can download data.

Required

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Address (will be verified, used as login name)
  • Login Password

Optional

  • Street Address

Contributor Profile

Contributors can upload new data, make comments on existing data, or become members of projects.

Required

  • Everything on the Member Profile
  • Institution they are affiliated with (if several provide the one most directly affiliated with)
  • Reference Email (will be contacted for verification)

In either case if the required fields are missing the user will be notified of what needs to be completed, and registration will not continue until all required fields are filled in.

After registering the user will be automatically logged in.
