Metamorphic Grades
This is the list of metamorphic facies that can/will be assigned as a sample attribute. The goal here is to provide a general classification of the P-T conditions experienced by the sample. One objective here is to try and not be too specific, because we all know how complex a rock history can be. It might be desirable to provide for additional information such as a sequence of facies such as "Granulite with Blueschist overprint" in the comment field (see sample descriptors).
