Account Expiration

We are continuing to move email services to the campus mail server to comply with campus policy. CS email will soon be tied to RCS accounts. Those who do not have active RCS accounts will no longer be able to receive email. The campus mail server will continue to honor the forwards we have established until June 15th, 2012, at which point the email sent to alumni CS accounts will simply bounce.

If you just graduated this semester, RCS account expirations for graduating students is going to be on July 10. A notice is usually sent to the students when the registrar marks the account as graduated (end of May/beginning of June). You should copy your email and files from the servers prior to then, as you won't have access to it again afterwards. You can setup a forward for new incoming email at that same time and campus will forward incoming email for approx.. 6 months.

Since we will no longer be able to email everyone at their CS accounts to notify them of changes or problems with the acounts, when the email forwards expire, we are also going to expire the orphaned CS accounts.

If you do not have a current RCS account, please make a copy of anything you wanted from your CS account before it expires and is deleted.
