Archiving your old CS email

There are many mail clients out there, but most will allow you to download your mailbox and store it locally. Mozilla Thunderbird is one I like personally.

Microsoft Outlook has the advantage of working with Google's uploading app. It would be good to make sure your anti-virus definitions and Windows Updates are all up to date before choosing this option.
