Revision Control: Subversion

Requesting creation of a subversion repository

• A CS faculty member should email labstaff@cs.rpi.edu with the following information:
  • Repository name
  • CS/RPI email address of group members to notify upon creation.
    • Users may also be included on the CC line of the email request to receive updates from the ticketing system.
  • A list of users to grant full R/W access to
  • A list of users to grant read-only access to
  • A list of users to restrict all access.
• For classroom use there are additional options
  • Faculty and TA's are granted r/w access on the repository root directory.
  • Create a subdirectory named for each student in the class and only the student is granted access.
