Ankesh Khandelwal is a PhD candidate in the Computer Science department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). He is affiliated with the Tetherless World Constellation, since 2008. He is advised by professors Peter Fox and James Hendler. During the training phase -- first two year of PhD! -- he worked towards formal analysis of the AIR language, a N3Logic-based policy language. After that he has been looking into methods for representing the complex knowledge of natural, physical processes in machine readable form, to complement the machine readable descriptions of data in the Semantic Web. He hails from Bharuch, Gujarat, India. Before coming to the States for graduate studies, he received Integrated Master of Technology degree (~ dual degree) in Mathematics and Computing from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi).
