I am a third year PhD student in the Computer Science Department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. My advisor is Dr. Sanmay Das and my concentration is Machine Learning. I am currently working on the design and analysis of algorithms for automated market making from a machine learning standpoint and their application to prediction markets. Prior to joining RPI, I earned a Bachelor's degree (Hons) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. In 2005, I topped my state (approx. 400,000 candidates) in West Bengal Higher Secondary Examination.
