Here is a chronological listing of selected publications from my undergraduate years. Research Interests Study and Application of Artificial Intelligence Algorithms Swarm Intelligence: Particle Swarm Optimization Evolutionary Algorithms: Differential Evolution, Genetic Algorithm Study and Application of Statistical Data Analysis Techniques: Principal Component Analysis, Independent Component Analysis, Regression Analysis Cellular Automata (and allied concepts) Properties of Boolean functions, Boolean Calculus, Boolean Linear Algebra Dynamics of cellular automata, particularly non-linear cellular automata Applications of cellular automata, especially in Pattern Recognition Robotics: Khepera II Others: Fractional Calculus, Fractional Order Control Systems Research Projects I worked on all but the last of the projects enumerated below on a fully non-credit basis mainly to get involved in research as early in my academic career as possible. Avoidance of erroneous inference due to cross-sensitivity of gas sensors in an electronic nose and fault diagnosis of a photovoltaic cell array by statistical techniques (unfinished) at Integrated Circuits Centre, Jadavpur University. Supervisor: Dr. Hiranmay Saha Solution of the Channel Allocation Problem in Mobile Cellular Networks by stochastic optimization techniques at Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, Jadavpur University. Supervisor: Dr. Amit Konar Design, identification and tuning of fractional-order systems and controllers at Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, Jadavpur University.
