General Paper Submission Guidelines
We are accepting short papers,
which should be between 3-5 pages in two-column format with text to
be no smaller than 10 point size.
The conference proceedings will be using the ACM Special Interest Group
(SIG) formats. Templates of these document formats can be found here. Please use one of these templates
when writing papers for submission. Any document submitted not following
this style will be rejected.
When using the ACM templates, please alter the conference and copyright

General Paper Presentation Guidelines
All paper presenters will have
20 minutes to present their paper. The general thought behind this is
15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions (give or take
a couple of minutes). Expect people to stop you and ask questions during
your presentation. Nevertheless, your presentation is to take no more
than 20 minutes!
Keep in mind that this is a multidisciplinary conference! Most of the
individuals attending and listening to your presentation are hearing
most or ALL of the material for the FIRST TIME. Please design your presentation
so that a general audience can understand your work. This will probably
mean briefly explaining some of the concepts that are common knowledge
in your area.
The presentations will be held in a room with an internal laptop projector.
If you need any other resources, please let us know immediately (rpi.wlh@gmail.com).
The schedule of the conference will be released soon to let you know
the time of your presentation; however, we would like you to attend
all of the presentations.
Poster Session Submissions Guidelines
Those wishing to have a poster during the poster session at the conference should submit a 2 page extended abstract. Please indicate whether the main author is an undergraduate or graduate student. It is expected that a faculty member help in the preparation of the abstract and be listed as a co-author. However, the student will be responsible for presenting the work at the poster sessions held during the conference.
Poster Session Presentation Guidelines
During the poster sessions
you will be asked to be near your prepared poster to address any questions
someone may have. Typically, those interested will come to your poster
and ask you questions; however, you may want to be proactive and approach
those who may look interested in your work.

The paper's primary author
should be listed first, followed by all other authors in alphabetical
order. All submissions should be sent to Renee Sutherland at rpi.wlh@gmail.com in pdf, postscript, or Microsoft Word
format by the appropriate dates (pdf is preferred).
