HW Late Submission Policy

Homework assignments submitted late (with the time of submission being whatever time WebCT thinks it is!) will be penalized 25% per day late. An assignment submitted 1 hour late is counted as one day late and will be penalized 25%, meaning the maximum grade is 75/100). Two days late means the maximum grade is 50/100), ...

If an assignment due date coincides with work/tests in other courses, make sure you get a head start on the homework. Dave will grant extensions only for reasons unrelated to "I didn't start this soon enough". If you need an extension, try any one of these (not that they will work, but consider the entertainment value to Dave):

• "My grandmother passed away or is sick"
• "My other grandmother passed away or is sick"
• "My grandmother that we though has passed away earlier in the semester was actually OK, but now she has passed away"
• "I am pregnant"
• "My girlfriend is pregnant"
• "My other girlfriend is pregnant"
• "My grandmother is pregnant and I may be responsible"
• "The guy whose code I copied is not a good programmer, and I just noticed that the code has a bug. I need a few days to correct the problem"
