The House Earendor has risen from the depths of poverty to become a power feared by the Corsairs of Umbar and respected through out gondor for their skills at sailing and war. Earedail seems to be a return of such men and the fading house of Earendor has watched the Heir to the house for such. Son of Earontir and the Lady Tarina. Earedail was the third of 7 children. He had two older brothers, both dead after fighting the corsairs and the storms, and two younger brothers, also dead from corsairs and storms. His youngest sibling, a sister, would be about 15 now and it isn't known what happened to her. His father sent her away many years ago and the family hasn't heard from her since, though Earedail's father never spoke of the girl or where he had sent her. Earedail himself is only about 20, too young some say for the burden of the house that has been thrust upon him. He has been well prepared by his parents. His mother is not of gondorian blood, in fact it is believed that Earedail's sister was sent to his mothers family, sailors from some isle to the south it is rumored, for safety and that she will return at some point. Earedail's mother yet lives and runs the families lands quite efficiently. Since his father's death Earedail has taken up the sword Aearuth, the Earendor house blade signify blood to be repaid. It is said that Earedail plans to exact vengence upon the Lady Arali and the Corsairs.
Krisorn was the eldest son of a crusty old lumberer and his young wife from Dol Amroth. Krisorn was the joy of their lives, and their only child, raised amongst the hard headed crew of Lumberjacks his father directed he quickly picked up the habits and mannerisms of them. His mother was the only moderating influence on his young life, and her gentle ways, the flower to her husbands bearishness, and intelligent thought were also reflected in her young son. It was she that ran the families business, managing the money and the supplies. She taught Krisorn all about such matters, at the same time his father and the other lumberjacks taught Krisorn all about lumbering and felling the great trees. Krisorn was 15 when his father was killed by an particularly mean old oak. The tree, massive but rotten at the core, jumped the wrong way when it was taken down and landed on his father, breaking his back and killing 3 other of the lumberjacks. Krisorn's mother was heartbroken as was he. But times were such that Krisorn had no choice but to continue and so he took his fathers place, leading the other lumberjacks though he was barely half their age. His decision though were always sound and he and the others prospered which did a lot for his leadership. The occasional fight also proved his quickness and while not the strongest of the lumberjacks there were few who were interested enough in getting in to a fight with him. Krisorn has also spent a good deal of time away at the wars of Gondor, fighting for his nation as a freeman. His skill with the heavy woodsmans axe is amazing and he wields it as well as many others wield swords or spears.
The youngest son of the Gondorian Lord Delthenor, Rinkair had a choice between the Navy and the Army. Rinkair chose the Navy having loved the ocean his whole life. His fathers influence started him as the ships mate and he recently took over the captaincy(at 20) from the former captain who was killed in a battle with a Umbarian ship. Young, Rinkair has always felt he has to prove himself. Being the youngest of his fathers five sons he has always felt like he wasn't really wanted or needed. He has a swift temper, a hot one, but is generally a fair man, especially with the sailors. He is a natural sailor, living on the ocean his whole life and learning the ship trade early. As a younger son he would normally have nothing to look forward to except his service in the Gondorian Navy and he has made the navy his home because of that. Of Rinkairs brothers only the eldest still lives, his other brothers having died in the constant fighting with Mordor, two having died in Osgiliath when the surprise attack came. Rinkair thinks not about his older brother much, though he has no wish or interest in becoming the heir.
Rinkair is also something of a bard. He spent a lot of his time speaking with and in the company of his familys bard, Tenan, and he learned how to play the harp and to sing. Rinkair enjoys his singing and loves his time upon the ocean partly because of the sailors love of song. It is not uncommon for Rinkair to play and/or sing while upon ship, especially in the evenings during fair weather. During battle his voice is often heard to raise one cry or another cutting across even the sound of battle.
