Biography

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science, Rensselear Polytechnic Institute (RPI). My advisor is Professor Randolph Franklin. Before coming to RPI, I got my B.Eng. and M.Phil. degrees in 2003 and 2005 respectively, both from the Department of Information Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). My Bachelor final year project supervisor was Professor Po-Choi Wong and my M.Phil. supervisor was Professor Wai-Yin (Will) Ng. From 2005 to 2008, I was a full-time teaching assistant in the Department of Decision Sciences and Managerial Economics, business faculty, CUHK.

Research Interests

My current research theme is the reconstruction of geographical, hydrological and biomedical data from partial survey data. Previously I worked on stereoscopic display for the colorblind, multimedia coding and conversation agent.
