A simple text file to tell you about the page you came from... the pages on this site were inspired by many sources: the layout Inspired by Joe Hewitt's simple css layout at his homepage the news links The news articles are mostly from yahoo! news. I like Yahoo more than any other portal because it presents the news as it occurs, calls it as it is. There are no opinions of minions or content-creators. Its news from respected sources... Try the site, you will become a fan. Also, its news as you want to read, short, concise, lucid and perspicuous. the actual content The rest of the Updates draw from my daily experiences. I am quite a convoluted person and I think on many tangents. The words on this page are a reflection of my thought process and don't mean any harm to anyone but myself. Its as I wrote once, a collection of my many inequities and writing them out helps keep my feet on the ground, reminds me that I too am a mere mortal. The Tools Adobe Photoshop what is a webpage if its graphics are all warped. Adobe Photoshop is the most kick ass program you can use on any platform to create and edit images. Kudos to a team of great innovators and a great product! Front Page Editor Long been a devout user of Netscape but come on, you can't be an HTML developer and not like Microsoft Front Page Editor. It is easy, extremely WYSIWYG and cut and paste from IE into Front Page produces text with the effects and links embedded. Also, the HTML editor is quite good and the product is fast and not clunky. gViM There is no editor quite like vi. Its lightning fast and gViM is a treat to use once you get used to the cryptic modes of operation and navigating through a file. I cannot go back to using any other editor and Emacs, bah, thats a behemoth that needs to just concentrate on doing the task of an editor, not be a bad HTML browser, news reader, etc, etc... Vi does one thing and its a ROCK STAR! Best of all, ITS FREE... to end, seize your day...
