Randomizing TCP
I worked on creating a new scheme for transmitting TCP
packets. Our aim was to randomize the send times of TCP
packets in the Linux kernel. We have, through
simulations in ns, observed randomized TCP to
perform better than TCP Reno in the face of congestion.
The paper on which my work is based can be viewed at
On Randomizing the Sending Times in TCP and other Window
Based Algorithms.
