A Slokam in Tamil

This song is in praise of Goddess Meenakshi. I have been wanting to write a poem on our kula theyvam in a temple near PalakkAd (It is called mInkuLaththukkavu) and the amman or devi there is mInAkshi - an article about this temple appeared in ananda vikatan recently - in Decmeber 2001, I completed this poem. If you take the second letter of each word in the first 4 lines, it spells the diety mInkuLaththu kAvu dEvi - which is what is mentioned in the sixth line. The temple is located in the village of Pallasena - that is the reason for the fifth line. Since I am a fool who goes for not perfection but an approximation -as explained in the last line.
