Multi-source Fusion in Omics 2013

Home

The first special session on Multi-source Fusion in Omics (MFO'13), to be held in conjunction with IEEE FUSION 2013 will take place in Istanbul, Turkey on July 9-12, 2013. MFO'13 focuses on new data mining and machine learning methods to extract novel information from integration of omics datasets. The topics of the special session include, but not limited to, algorithms and applications for:

  • Genomic data fusion, genome-phenome data fusion,
  • Comparative genomics and phylogenomics via genomic data integration,
  • Gene expression analysis and genome-wide association analysis,
  • Integration of gene expression data with regulatory and metabolic pathways, and with protein-protein interaction networks,
  • Integration of proteomic, transcriptomic, and metabolomic data for systems biology,
  • Integration of clinical datasets with omics datasets,
  • Personalized medicine via mining gene-drug interactions,
  • Detection of metabolic pathways from multiple protein interaction networks,
  • Integration of data mined from biomedical literature to enrich omics datasets,
  • Mining massive heterogeneous omics datasets.

For a detailed description, the authors can refer to the Call For Papers.

Note: Paper submission deadline is extended to March 15th.
