Stacy Patterson

I am the Clare Boothe Luce Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

I received by PhD in computer science from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2009. Between 2009 and 2013, I did postdoctoral work with Professor Basam Bamieh at the Center for Control, Dynamical Systems and Computation at UCSB and Professor Idit Keidar at the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Technion.

My research interests are in distributed algorithms, cooperative control, complex networks, and sensor networks.

I am currently looking for motivated PhD students with a strong math background. If you are interested in exploring PhD opportunities and you are currently at RPI, please feel free to send me an email. I would be happy to meet with you. If you are not already an RPI student, please send me email with your CV and a brief introduction. I will do my best to respond.
