Digital Microfluidic System (DMFS) Animations

Animations
The MPEG animations below are the multimedia extensions that accompany the paper:
``Coordinating Multiple Droplets in Planar Array Digital Microfluidic Systems,'' E. J. Griffith and S. Akella, International Journal of Robotics Research, Vol. 24, No. 11, pages 933--949, November 2005. pdf , bib .

Each animation depicts the system running an example reaction. These animations depict a DNA polymerase chain reaction (PCR) example run on the array. The layouts have two sinks along the right side. Each droplet is typically depicted as a small square, and the color of a droplet indicates its droplet type. When two droplets are mixed, the mixed droplet type is indicated by its unique color.
