RESEARCH INTERESTS

Algorithm Design and Analysis, Wireless Ad-hoc Networks, Synchronization and Scheduling, Distributed Algorithms… Current research focus is on the design of a new suite of protocols for wireless ad-hoc networks consisting of contention-free / limited contention Medium Access Control (MAC) and accompanying routing protocols for better latency, throughput and energy efficiency.

• www.cruiseline-tr.com (site update and maintenance) - January-August 2002

Worked for the worldwide cruise voyage company Cruiseline’s Turkey office on a project including an email list management module, usage tracking and statistics module, detailed cruise ship information pages, flash animation design and many other small updates to the web site design and structure.

• Document Management Software “AjansTuba” - completed in December 2001

Developed software for a company that holds and distributes to its customers the databanks of Turkish laws and legislations. The developed software enabled users to search through legislation documents, browse them in categories, take notes or mark documents as favorites, and many other features to facilitate efficient use of the databank. Administration part of the program enabled document management and member accounts management.

• www.goz.gen.tr web site - completed in June 2001

Designed and developed an 'eye health center' web site, www.goz.gen.tr (content in Turkish). The project included the structural design of a web site, graphical design and online concept creation, and consultancy for the site owners on site content and structure.
