Description: This course introduces basic programming concepts for engineering majors who do not take CSCI 1100 and 1200. A technical description of the course content can be found in the RPI course catalog. At the request of the School of Engineering Curriculum Committee, this course will be taught in Matlab.

Required text:
There is no required text. We will use my notes and Matlab's documentation.

Daily class structure:
Each lecture period will begin with a 10-minute paper-and-pencil quiz. I will lecture for the next 30 to 50 minutes while the TAs grade the quizzes. The remainder of the class will be devoted to assignments.
