   I went through your slides.  It looks like (even though I can't play the movies) that you are focusing on things totally relevant to the goals of the workshop.  Thanks.
   I have only two questions:   Why do you not need to know object mass and surface friction?  Is it because the arm is assumed strong enough to overcome friction, and motion is quasi-static?
