We are looking for graduate students, particularly PhD students, but
Masters students too. If you are interested, please contact Professor Akella or Professor Huang.
Prospective graduate students: We encourage you to apply to the
Computer Science department at Rensselaer. An interest in being
actively involved in research is required. Our department has an
active group of faculty in robotics and computer vision, and offers
several courses in these and related areas.
Undergraduate students
We regularly involve undergraduates in the research in our lab. This
is often done through RPI's
Undergraduate Research Program (URP). This might take the form of
an independent study or a paid position, depending upon the project,
availability of funding, and so on.
Professor Huang will have several URPs available (some for credit,
some for pay) in the spring 2001 semester and will have several paid
URP positions available for the summer of 2001 . Please check back in
early January for details on the spring URPs.
Professor Srinivas Akella is also looking for undergraduate
students to conduct research projects in the lab. Please contact him if you are
interested.
