I am a second year Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science, at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. My research interests lie in the areas of combinatorial algorithms and computational biology. Currently I am interested in recommendation algorithms. My advisor is Prof. Mukkai S. Krishnamoorthy. I am also employed as a research assistant in CSDT project of STS Department, under Prof. Ron Eglash.

I received my B.Sc. (2005) degree from the Computer Science Department of Bilkent University,Ankara/Turkey. During my last year in Bilkent, I worked at Bilkent Center for Bioinformatics in the project of PATIKA, under the guidance of Prof. Ugur Dogrusoz.
