Hi my name is Nimit Dhulekar. I earned my Ph.D. in the Computer Science department at RPI, working with Professor Bülent Yener. I completed my Masters in Computer Science from Dartmouth College working with Professor Richard Granger of the Psychological and Brain Sciences department. My areas of research include data analytics of complex time-series, biomedical imaging, image processing, and computer vision.

I will be joining MathWorks in July 2015 as an Application Support Engineer in the Engineering Development Group.

I currently serve as the webmaster for Data Sciences Research Center. I have previously served as the webmaster for Native American Studies and the Latin American, Latino & Caribbean Studies departments at Dartmouth College.

I am a member of RPI's ultimate frisbee team Trudge and play with jersey #30. When not in my office, you can find me playing badminton, ultimate frisbee, soccer, or memorizing little known facts. I served as the Graduate Class Representative on the Union Executive Board for the academic year 2013-14. I have also served on the Union Rules and Elections, Policies, Technology, and Constitution, and Bookstore Advisory Committees. I served as the President of the RPI Quiz Bowl Club from Fall 2011 till Spring 2013. I served as a representative of the Computer Science department on the Graduate Student Council from 2012 to 2014.
