Dec 13Final grades have been entered into SIS and should be available early next week. We will not be returning the final exams, but if you'd like to look over your graded exam, please make an appointment with Professor Cutler. Have a great holiday break!
Dec 12 Despite the bad weather, RPI is still open. All finals will be delayed by 2 hours. The CS2 Final Exam will be from 1:30-4:30pm today (Friday Dec 12th) in DCC 308. Call the RPI Info Line for the latest information: 276-6600.

Nov 18The OpenGL/glut installation tips have been updated with info for linux. Please let us know if you have problems while following these instructions or if you have instructions for other systems that you'd like to share.
Nov 18The Makefile for HW9's ImageViewer now includes a build target for MacOSX. Download the new Makefile and new image_viewer.cpp from the calendar. On the command line, type: make osx
Nov 18A windows build of the ImageViewer executable for HW9:
     ImageViewer.exe
You may also need some .dlls (put them in the same directory as the .exe):
     cygwin1.dll
     opengl32.dll
     glu32.dll
     glut32.dll
Nov 18A small typo was fixed in the Makefile for the INCLUDE_PATH on unix/linux platforms.
Nov 18The deadline for HW8 has been extended to Monday Nov 24th at 11:59pm. The usual late day policy applies. Homework will be accepted on Tuesday (one day late) or Wednesday (two days late).

Nov 13HW9 has been posted on the calendar. This homework involves images and we have provided an OpenGL/glut based image viewer. It is not necessary to use this program to view the images and complete the assignment. Here are some OpenGL/glut installation tips. If you have trouble installing OpenGL/glut, or if you have trouble building the ImageViewer executable, please see a TA in office hours.
Nov 12Graded Tests will be handed back in lab after you finish Checkpoint 3. Stats for the exam: Max=100, Average=71, Standard Deviation=13. Approximate grades: 80&up=A, 70&up=B, 60&up=C, 55&up=D. Your semester average will be computed from the number score, not the letter grade. All re-grade requests must be submitted within 7 days. Your entire test will be examined and your score may go up or down. Please thank all of your TAs for their extra effort Tuesday afternoon and evening to get the tests graded this quickly.

Oct 17 The CS2 Final Exam will be on Friday December 12th from 11:30am-2:30pm. Please check the complete final exam schedule for possible conflicts with your other courses.

Oct 7A slight revision to Homework 5 has been posted. The main.cpp file has been modified to use a print member function rather than use the operator<< for UnrolledLL objects. (We haven't covered the friend function syntax that should be used for this implementation. We will soon.) You may use the old version of the file or the new version of the file. Please ask a TA in lab if you have questions.
