Dr. Dong Hu has recently earned his doctorate (August 2024). His research focuses on using Randomized numerical Linear Algebra (RandNLA) to design scalable, cost-effective machine learning models with provable guarantees. He has made research contributions to label complexity reduction, matrix factorization, and tensor decomposition. He is interested in further exploring the potential of these methods in deep learning settings, especially to LLMs and foundation models.
